GDS STRIKE WILL CONTINUE..............

A historical indefinite strike of Gramin Dak Sevaks entered 10th day.
Govt & Department are not ready to give a favourable assurance on the demand of GDS Unions i.e., implementation of GDS Committee Report.
Thousands of Branch Post Offices closed down in the country,  rural postal system paralized in the villages for the last 8 - 9 days.
The Postal Department is yet to realize to resolve the justified demand of  its own vital work force in the rural areas.
But the participation of GDs in the strike increased day by day and continuing from its commencement ie., 22nd May.
This indefinite strike of GDS recorded as a historical event in the postal trade union movement in India.
Let us continue this struggle till an honourable settlement is reached.
