Sub: Posting of qualified hands in accounts branches in Virudhunagar division

It is brought to our notice that in the absence of APM Accounts and trained and qualified hands in the accounts branches at all the four head post offices under Virudhunagar division, the work relating to pay fixation, stepping up of pay and drawal of arrears to postmen etc could not be effectively made. There is a delay in all payments due to non-availability of APM Accounts to guide the PAs working in the accounts branches in the division and the grievances of the staff due to non drawal of dues and arrears are mounting. It causes a concern.

It is therefore requested to make arrangements for filling up the post of APM accounts and also depute a trained pool from other divisions for a shorter period to the accounts branches and impart necessary knowledge and training to the officials working in the accounts branches in the division.
