Sub: Request for appointment of officials qualified for promotion in the LGO Examination in PA/SAs
against the notified vacancies since the imparting of their training will be delayed and to
meet the shortage, as in the case of last year-Reg.

The results of LGOs examination is already announced and there is delay in imparting training to the selected candidates as PAs/ SA s for want of clearance of seats from PTC.
You may well aware that there is acute shortage of staff, due to non filling of vacancies of the calendar year 2011 and current year vacancy, non filling of residual vacancies of the year 2010, deputations to APS, diverting the staff of general branch to unprovided duties such as RPLI/PLI in Divisions, diverting to the works of MEs/SAs/DSMs/IMT and BPCs. Also there is a vast gap between sanctioned and working strength in many Divisions.
Hence , in order to meet out the shortage, in house training may kindly be imparted to them immediately, as in the case of last year , besides issuing orders of appointment , before going for induction training. This will facilitate for better utilization of man power , in the shortage scenario. Taken into account of the Directorate orders No. 60/11/2011- SPB I dt. 16.09.2011, it is gathered that, already such orders of appointment were made in various
Circles and even in various Divisions , within our Tamilnadu Circle.
Hence it is requested that, this may kindly be extended to all officials qualified for promotion in the last LGO examination.
