During the PMG (CCR) visit he has ordered to shift accounts branch of
Anna road HPO to ground floor which is presently functioning in the
third floor. Anna Road HPO is already functioning with a very limited
space and could not find space in the ground floor to shift the
accounts branch consisting of 12 staff and their valuable records.
Already we are working in the cramped area after sharing our 300 sqft
area to Anna Road Stg and around 500 sqft area was contributed to BMC
Anna Road. Now it is very difficult to accommodate accounts branch in
ground floor.
The distance between network switches installed in accounts branch in
third floor and in the ground floor of Anna Road HPO is around 90
meters. The SIFY authority recommends only 60 meters cabling between
the network switches.
In view of the above it is requested not to shift accounts branch
anywhere else and installing one more manageable network switch at the
end of 60 meters from accounts branch or to provide the 500 sqft of
area in the ground floor where Bulk Mail Centre is functioning now
which is 30 meters from SIFY network switch in order to maintain
healthy network connectivity.
