The Federal Executive Meeting of NFPE was held on 10.12.2010 at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram, Hydrabad on 10.12.2010. From TN P 3 Circle Com. C. Chandrasekar, attended as Working President and Com. S. Raghupathy, attended as Asst. Sec. General in the Federal Executive. Com. J.R. Circle Secretary, Com.A. Veeramani, Circle Treasurer, Com. N.G., ACS , Com. Srivi, CVP and Com.G.C.N., Ex President Ambattur Br, were attended the Federal Council as Visitors . Taking stock of the situation , the Federal Executive has discussed the issues threadbare and taken several decisions. The same will be published by the Secretary General in the NFPE web site.
A notable issue discussed in the Federal Executive is for raising demand of VII pay commission with 5 years interval as in the case of many public sector , which is due by Jan. 2011, since there is no merger of DA while crossing 50 % and it will relatively affect the pay benefits in the running future. Let us start to raise the demand , so as to generate it as a popular demand at the grass root level , very soon.
First All India Conference of the newly formed ALL INDIA POSTAL SBCO EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION and All India Postal Civil Wing Employees Association (which were formed as per the decision of NFPE and will be affiliated with NFPE very soon) were held at 11th and 12th Dec.2010 respectively at Hydrabad. Both have already got recognition of the department in the recent membership verification.
The election was unanimous . Com.Appanraj- Tamilnadu was got elected as the General Secretary of AISBCOEA and Com. Rahim - Andhra as the General Secretary of AIPCWEA. Our Circle Union congrats the newly elected team of office bearers.
