Request for payment of pension to the P&T pensioners on 1.4.2016 – Reg.

First of all, we
are thanking very much to our CPMG, TN for accepting our request and issued
order for making payment of salary on 1.4.2016 itself by cash, in the
event of failure in Finacle. However,
the order is silent on effecting payment of pension on 1.4.2016, though we have
requested for the same in the letter cited under reference.
As per CCS Pension
Rules 1972, it is mandatory to pay the pension on the last working day of the
month and during the month of March, it is on 1st April of the year.
Hence it is not correct to stop payment or postpone the pension payment to any
other convenient date to the Infosys, for their failure in maintaining the
services.
We request the CPMG,
TN, therefore, to consider the same and cause necessary action to effect
payment of pension to the pensioners on 1st April.2016. as in the
case of payment of salary.
