No.P3/BMM/CR dt.
20.06.2012.
To
The
Postmaster General,
Central
Region,
Trichirappalli
620 001.
Sir,
Sub: Subjects for
bi-monthly meeting to be
held on 29.06.2012 – Reg.
…
The
following items are proposed to be taken up for discussions with
the PMG, CR during the
Bi-monthly meeting to
be held on 29.06.2012. The same may kindly be entertained.
1. Re-opening of item01/04/2012- This case is repeatedly re-opened - despite
assured positively, many GDS SV
posts are marked for abolition and the GDS’ are redeployed/ ordered for
redeployment in many offices even though the work load is more than 3 hours - eg.
Turaiyur , Trichy Fort and Tiruvarur Pos. This affects
the clerical working system and public services at MPCM counters , where there is already overload and extension
of business hours till closing.
2. Re-opening of item 02/04/2012- This was not
implemented . For eg. In Trichy Division
itself now 8 P.A.s were deputed to R.O., three P.A.s
to PSD, two P.A.s to Dispensary
and three P.A.s to the
decentralized RPLI duty.
Even outsourced agents
are not granted to meet the
resultant work load on deputations , despite requested frequently and taken up in the bi-monthly meeting already.
3. 3. Re-opening of
item 2/2/2012- Problem is
still persisting almost in all the Divisions and needed
for review again – Even the proposal
for supply of
A/C machines to Perambalur HO is
pending for more than 2 yrs and the UPS is under
disrepairs for long. (Existing
A/C machines and
UPS are beyond repairable condition)
New Items:-
1. Acute
shortage of stationery , RPLI Receipt Books, acknowledgement cards, computer papers
throughout Central Region inviting
quarrel with the public at the
Counters. Immediate arrangements
are
requested for free flow supply .
2. Abrupt issuance
of orders to withdraw one post in
Treasury , Kumbakonam HO though there
is
ample
justification for the three
posts. This affects badly the working condition and resultantly
the
remittance, bank drawings,
postman cash will be badly
affected, in turn affecting the public
services.
3 3. Request for dequarterisation of Postmaster’s Quarters at Tiruthuraipundi HO
, and the Accounts,
SBCO branches may
be accommodated in the quarters portion, since the ground floor is
cramped
with the pooling of
various branches and the staff
are suffering much.
The following
office bearers will be attending the
meeting . Necessary arrangement may kindly be made
For granting special
CL and relief to them.
