A Full day Dharna was conducted at Vellore HPO premises on 30.03.2012 by the JCA in protest against the anti labour activities of the Senior Superintendent, Vellore Division.
The Dharna was jointly presided by Com. B. Amruthaganesan, Circle Vice President, P3 and Com. A. Perumal , Dist. Sec., CGE Confederation, Vellore.
Com. J. Ramamurthy, Circle Secretary, Com. A. Veeramani, Asst. General Secretary , Com. N.V. Mohan Raj, Asst. Circle Sec. of P 3 Union, and Com. Gopu. Govindarajan, All India Org. Sec., NFPE P4 were taken part and addressed the Dharna.
Also, Com.K. Pichandi, Divisional Sec., P3, Tiruvannamalai Dn., Com. D. Subburaj, Branch Sec., P3, Arni, Com. A. Kumaran, Divisional Sec. P3, Arakkonam, Com. S. Dhanasekaran, Branch Sec., P3, Ranipet were taken part and addressed the Dharna.
About 50 members of P3 and P4 Unions were taken part in the Dharna. About 100 members of P3, P4 & GDS unions were visited the Dharna and attended the closing hour meeting.
Com. S. Veeran , Divisional Secretary, NFPE P 3 Union has organised the Dharna in a befitting manner. All the speakers have condemned the atrocities, anti union , anti labour activities of the Sr. Superintendent Sri. V. Santhanaraman. Many spoke about his habit of issuance of orders against the Departmental norms , rules, orders of Directorate.
The Circle Secretary warned the SSPOs that , if he is not correcting such of his ill activities, Circle Union will launch agitational programme , in front of the R.O. , mobilising mass from among the Divisions under CCR Region.
