Sub: Request to declare Vinayagar Chathurthi as
a closed Holiday – Reg.

Consequent on preponement of Ramzan Holiday from 11.09.10 to 10.09.10, the
Important Hindu Festival celebrated throughout the Country in majority , now falls
only as a restricted Holiday.
Being the four Holidays , other than the declared 13 holidays in the Holiday list,
are within the competency of the Heads of Circles of the respective States, Our
Circle Union requests the Chief PMG to declare Vinayagar Chathurthi as a closed
Holiday on 11.09.10 , by changing any one of the other holidays within the
competency.
We expect, the sentiments of the common staff celebrating the Festival in large,
be honoured by our Chief.
