BI – MONTHLY MEETING WITH PMG CR ON 17.10.2011


BI – MONTHLY MEETING -  CENTRAL  REGION  DT. 17.10.2011

The bi-monthly meeting   of   Central Region  was held on 17.10.2011. Com. J. Ramamurthy, Circle Secretary and  Com. A. Manoharan, Regional Secretary were attended on behalf of the Staff side . The PMG, CR and  the  DPS, CR were attended on behalf  of  administrative side. The meeting  was held in a conducive  atmosphere. The  outcome of the meeting is

1. PMG , CR agreed to  restore  the abolition of  GDS SV posts  ordered  throughout  Central Region,
    except which  are sub-standard ,  having  less than 3 hrs.  work load.

2. Agreed to   allow  outsourcing  throughout  the Region ,  wherever  needed  ,  based on the  requests
     placed  by the  Divisional  heads,  especially  for extra  item of works such as  Data entry work of   
     RPLI, A/Cs , SB  works etc.

3. As per  PMG’s  version , though  the extension of  business  hours of  counters up to 7 hrs. is  ordered
    based on Dte.  instructions,    he  agreed  the version of   the staff side  in connection with the  duration
    of  back office  work.   Then he  assured  to instruct   positively taken into consideration of  the CPMG’s
    instructions  and  the  staff side view.

The copy of  written minutes  is expected to  be supplied  within a week.

Thereafter,  informal meeting   is  held with the  PMG, CR and  the DPS, CR  separately.  Com. R. Kumar, Circle Organizing  Secretary  has also attended along with Circle/Regl. Secretary.  This  was also  held in a smooth atmosphere  and both the PMG and DPS  are  very  receptive though it is late hour after 07.00 PM. Some important items  discussed  during  the   informal  meeting  are

1. Issuance of orders  for  re-allotment  to Kumbakonam Division to the three displaced LSG officials of Mayiladuturai -  orders   issued in file & will be  released .
2 . Rule 38  transfer  case   of  Smt. Bharathi   of  Mayiladuturai Division  to  Tuticorin Division under spouse category -  will be  recommended.
3.Immunity from transfer – Case of Sri. A. Kumaragurunathan, Karur Division -  will be  ordered.
4.Cancellation of  transfer orders  issued  to  Sri. L. Rajagopal, DPM,  Pattukkottai Division-  will be kept in
abeyance.
5.Non grant of advance TA to the   PA  induction trainees  in various  Division of Central Region- instructions will be  issued  to   grant   advance of  TA.
6.Grant of officiating pay  to  Smt. L. Lalitha, Offg. PM, Pudukkottai  HO -  Will be pursued in consonance with the  Directorate orders  dt. 28.7.2011.
7. Consideration of  re-instatement  of prolonged  suspension – Case of Sri. M. Ramanathan, Thanjavur Division- Request  will be  considered on appeal.

We have  requested  the  PMG, CR   to review  his  decision  of calling back   the   officials  those  who are  on temporary transfers  in various   Units  throughout  the Circle .  We hope   our  request   will be   considered ,  being    it is    the middle of the  academic  year  and  the  temporary transfers are ordered on specific  purposes and  the staff would suffer a  lot ,  if  redrawn.

We thanked  both  the  PMG, CR   and  the  DPS, CR   for  their  smooth approach  in receiving  and  discussing the  staff matters  positively.

Com. Maruthanayagam, Divl. Sec., Trichy and Com. Palanisamy , Divl. Sec. , Karur  received the Circle Office bearers  and  extended warm welcome . We thanked for their  kind  hospitality.
