INTERVIEW WITH THE PMG, CR ON 02.04.2012

Com.J. Ramamurthy, Circle Secretary and Com. N. Selvan, Circle Organising Sec., were met the PMG, Central Region on 02.04.2012 and discussed  some of the  problems  as mentioned in the letter dt. 02.04.2012.

The details are :-

1. Though the a/cs relating to Tennur East PO  were ordered to be merged with Tennur SO,  the PMG replied that  the  said Tennur East PO is kept  under skeleton and  as per the suggestion given by the
Divisional Union,  if suitable building  is  searched  at Anna Nagar area,  the same  would be 
relocated. He asked the co-operation of the union in this regard and we also assured  for the same.

He further replied that TN 1067 functioned at HRO RMS 'T' Division is only  an experimental SO
in lieu of  making transaction at  RMS area. Being   the same  is found  to be  having  least transactions, the same was ordered to be closed.

He also replied that the incumbent SPM was ordered for transfer on PMG's visit only,  because of  no improvement in transactions. However, on  discussions, he satisfied and assured  to give him re-transfer within Trichy town area, on making  representation.

2. The post of  Accountant, Trichy HO will be  restored, if found justified. He further replied that
statistical report is also called for  from  Trichy HO in this connection.

3. On representing with  the PMG, he  replied that all pending O/S  bills will be passed immediately and no bill would be   kept  pending hereafter. As assured by him in the meeting, all the bills were  reportedly passed and paid within a couple of days , through out the Region. 

Also he replied, this matter is directly linked with the utilization of outsiders on Postman/MTS leaves/short term vacancies , without making combination of beats. However, on discussions , he realized of the  practical difficulties and assured to  consider in granting outsiders on long leaves/vacant posts, subject to justification of work load.

4. Regarding sportsman quota case he assured to  forward this case to Circle Office immediately for taking  final decision, without any delay.

5. Nagappattinam tfr. cases were discussed at length and based on the grounds, he advised for some
alternates, which were  discussed with the Divisional Secretary over phone on the same day for smooth settlements.
